Due Diligence Process

Every due diligence process is different. However, best practices have emerged over the years that we follow as gold standard in our projects.

1 / Target Definition

The first step in a Commercial & Tech Due Diligence is to define clear objectives. This involves determining the specific needs and requirements of the acquisition. This makes it possible to determine the focus of the audit and identify relevant aspects of the target company's digital activities and infrastructure.

2 / Data Collection

Data is collected from first- and third-party sources. This includes internal data of the target company such as marketing data, customer data, performance metrics, revenue data, etc. Additionally, external data sources such as market research reports, industry studies, customer feedback as well as own market models are used.

3 / Analysis

The data collected is thoroughly analyzed to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses and potential of the target company. Interim reports and continuous communication with our clients during the process ensures that the analysis is particularly comprehensive for the most important aspects and blind spots are avoided.

4 / Reporting

The results of the Commercial & Tech Due Diligence are presented in a detailed report. This report contains a summary of the key findings as well as the full data basis and in-depth analyses.

5 / Action-/ 100-Day Plan

Based on the final report, an action plan is created that includes recommendations and measures for the period immediately after the acquisition. This plan serves as a guide for the implementation of optimizations, improvements and adjustments. If required, relevant resources can be provided by i-digital.
